Sail Away!

I am loving sailboats right now.  They are everywhere and I am dying to buy just about anything with a sailboat on it.  Vineyard Vines and J.Crew both have great prints out that are all about the sailboats! I am in love!

(Check out J.Crew's Ratti Regatta print here.)

Here are a few more fun sailboat themed items to check out!

How much are you loving sailboats this summer?

Brooks Brothers Red Fleece

This week Brooks Brothers introduced a new collection tailored toward a younger audience called Red Fleece.  Featured modeling the fabulous new collection is non other than the Kiel James Patrick gang!  This makes me love them all even more.  How fabulous would it be to partner with Brooks Brothers and get to model for their catalog!

Isn't Miss Sarah Vickers just wonderful on the cover!

Brooks Brothers

I am loving all the new items at Brooks Brothers.  Sadly (but probably a good thing for my wallet) we don't have a Brooks Brother near by...  But, I'm loving all their new items, so I might just have to pop over to Tampa ASAP!

Here are a few of my favorite items!

This is such a perfect work dress for spring and summer!

How fun are these peep toe pumps? I need!

This one's a little pricey, but I love!

What are your favorite new Brooks Brothers items?

seersucker saturday.

Since it's Memorial Day weekend, I figured it's a perfect time to bust out some seersucker.  I love wearing seersucker.  I wish I could wear it year round (since I live in Florida and it's always warm!), but sadly I like to (kinda) fallow the rules.

I love these tan Ivanka Trump 'Brisa' Sandals.  Even though they are a little tall for my liking (3 1/4 inches), they are classic and great for dressing up sundresses in the summer.

During the spring and summer I love caring pretty much any kind of straw bag! This Melie Bianco 'Anya' Clutch from Nordstrom is a great (reasonably priced) straw clutch that is perfect for church or a quick outing with friends.

I love throwing in anything nautical to complete the 'summer look'.  This anchor bead charm bracelet in ivory and blue from J.Crew is a perfect accessory for any summer outfit.

Brooks Brothers is (in my opinion) the all time best store for all things prep! This seersucker dress is the perfect thing to add to your preppy wardrobe.

Happy Saturday!

trend: iKat.

Are you a fan of the ikat trend? I am in love with anything ikat.  It's great to wear in the spring and summer or decorate your house or apartment with ikat!  It's a fun pattern that will brighten up any outfit or room.

I love this ikat dress from Brooks Brothers.  It's perfect to dress up or down during the summer.  You can wear it with flip-flops to the beach or heels for a lunch date with friends.  I paired it with a Lilly Pulitzer clutch and Sperry Top-Sider wedges... I think it's a fun outfit for brunch with friends or a fun summer party!

flats

I love flats, I wear them all time.  I am so short that I probably shouldn't wear them as much as I do, but they are just so versatile and comfortable.  I mean, really, do you expect me to march around the University of Florida campus in 4-inch wedges, I don't think so!  Since I two days a week this semester, flats are perfect to wear to the office.  They are comfortable enough that I can walk from my apartment to the office (all the way at the football stadium) and not be in terrible pain by the time I get there.  Now don't get me wrong, flats are not always the most comfortable footwear, they have no support.  But, they are classic and conservative, perfect for work.

I am absolutely in love with all the Kate Spade flats this season.  They have a variety of colors and I love the color-block style.  Kate Spade never stops making me love them more and more everyday.  But, if you can't afford the huge price-tag (which I cannot) Old Navy has some great alternatives.

I am also loving Brooks Brothers flats this season.  Aren't these yellow ones adorable?
