Those of you who are longtime readers of Southern Royalty know that I graduated from college a few weeks ago. A couple of days before graduation my family came up to Gainesville so we could take graduation pictures around campus. However the day we had planned to take pictures, the weather was horrible. It was freezing and the sky was grey. This was certainly not optimal photo shoot weather. We decided to delay the pictures a day, but we did walk around campus for a little while taking a few casual pictures.
Here are a few of the fun pictures we took that day.
I'm back with another fun link-up with AV from long distance loving! This week is all about what to wear for New Years Eve. Typically, I am not much of a NYE person... I don't usually go out to crazy parties or stay out all night. Sometimes I go to a fun dinner with friends, but I'm usually home by 10:30 or 11:00. I know, I know... BORING! But, that's just fine with me.
Well... if I was going to a fun party, this is probably what I would wear.
Happy Holidays Everyone! Only a few more days until Christmas Day. Today I am linking up with long distance loving for Friday's Fancies. This week is all about fun holiday outfits. The holidays are such a fun time and the colors are the best, don't you think? I love wearing bright red and green sweaters, dresses and skirts.
I usually get new pajamas around this time of year. Fun pajama sets are a great Christmas gift. Isn't it so fun to wake up on Christmas morning in adorable new PJs? J.Crew always has a fun selection, but I have also gotten some great PJs from American Eagle, Victoria Secret and Target!
The holidays are right around the corner and you know what that means... Holiday parties!!!! Red is slowly becoming one of my favorite colors to wear. I only have a few red items in my wardrobe, so I've been wearing them all the time lately. Christmas parties are the perfect time to wear a fun bright red dress.
Hanukkah begins at sundown, so I thought I would post some fun Hanukkah decorating ideas for all my Jewish friends and followers. Martha Stewart has some fun ideas for decorations and DIY projects for the holidays.
I cannot believe in a few short days I will be finished with my undergraduate college career. It feels like just a few months ago I came to the University of Florida and started my first semester. I remember walking the campus with my parents to find each of my classes the week before school started. I was so worried that I would get lost and be late to my first day of school. It was only a matter of weeks before I had my routine down pat and campus started to feel like home. It's strange to think I won't be walking Museum Road or heading to Weimer Hall for classes anymore.
The next few days will be spent on-campus studying and preparing for my senior project.
How are you spending the first few days of December?
