Seeing Red

The red cups are back at Starbucks! I am so excited.  It is always pretty warm in Florida during the fall and early winter, but the cheery cups and decorations at Starbucks make me feel like Christmas is near. I love a good peppermint mocha on a cold winter day!  Plus red is just so festive and since it's now November, J.Crew, Vineyard Vines, Tuckernuck and Kate Spade are pulling out their holiday best (and even putting together gift guides!).  Tis the season!

The holidays are right around the corner and you know what that means... Holiday parties!!!!  Red is slowly becoming one of my favorite colors to wear.  I only have a few red items in my wardrobe, so I've been wearing them all the time lately.  Christmas parties are the perfect time to wear a fun bright red dress.

The red cups are back!!!!! 

I've mentioned it before, but I am so excited that the red cups are back at Starbucks.  This means the return of peppermint drinks.  I still feel like it's a little early to dive into Christmas (I do love Thanksgiving and think it's an under-appreciated holiday), but drinking peppermint hot-cocoa or peppermint mocha coffee in a fun winter cup is the perfect thing to help you ease into the upcoming holiday season.

1.  J.Crew Quilted Vest | I am loving puffy quilted vest right now.  They are so cozy and fun and since we have a very mild winter in Florida, vests are the perfect way to wear winter clothes without overly bundling up.  

2. Madewell Pintuck Blouse | This red silk long-sleeve blouse from Madewell is the perfect shirt for the holiday season.  Add some fun jewelry, like a statement necklace, and this is the perfect shirt for a holiday party.  

3.  J.Crew Union Suit | I died when I saw these one-piece PJs from J.Crew.  How much fun would it be to wake up on Christmas morning in these bright, striped pajamas?

4. Vickers Bow Camp Three Point from KJP | If you can't tell, I am a little obsessed with the new Kiel James Patrick Vickers Bow Collection.  They are so fabulous, I can't get over it.  The Camp Three Point in red plaid is one of my favorites.  It is the perfect bracelet to wear during the holiday season or give as a gift.

It's officially Fall and we've been having a little bit cooler weather.  The mornings have been fabulous the past couple of days and I'm hoping this pattern continues for quite some time.  I love it!  A great color to wear during the Fall and Winter is red.  It's so bright and fun and is great around the Holiday Season.

Friday's Fancies : Road Trip

Happy Friday! I have had a crazy week with school starting, so my posts have been a little off schedule, but I'll get back on schedule soon.  Luckily I have found time for my favorite link-up with  {av} from long distance loving.  It's another fun week of Friday's Fancies!

With fall right around the corner I thought I would put together an outfit that is perfect to help you transition from those crazy hot and humid days to the more comfortable and fun fall temps.  I went on a road trip over the summer and I had a blast.  But, anytime you're taking a long car trip make sure to dress comfortably.  I am always cold in the car, so I prefer to wear pants.  But, it's important to remember that you'll be sitting for hours at a time, so don't wear anything that's too tight.

AG Stevie Ankle Color | Bright colored jeans are a perfect way to transition from summer to fall.  Red jeans are perfect for all seasons.  The cropped style of these jeans is just perfect.

Curved Stripes Dolman | Who doesn't love stripes?  They are so fun and stylish.  I could wear stripes everyday.

CeCe Metallic Ballet Flats | I love metallic accessories.  These gold flats from J.Crew are great shoes for late summer and fall.  The gold makes them perfect for day and night and just about any occasion.
