Friday's Fancies : Lovely Layers

Many of my friends are currently in the midst of a soon-to-be giant snow storm in the Northeast.  So av is on-spot with this weeks Friday's Fancies theme... lovely layers!  We haven't had much of a winter this year in Florida, so I haven't had many opportunities to wear layers.  This week, I decided to do my post on light layers featuring pink jeans in honor of Valentine's Day.

Friday's Fancies : Road Trip

Happy Friday! I have had a crazy week with school starting, so my posts have been a little off schedule, but I'll get back on schedule soon.  Luckily I have found time for my favorite link-up with  {av} from long distance loving.  It's another fun week of Friday's Fancies!

With fall right around the corner I thought I would put together an outfit that is perfect to help you transition from those crazy hot and humid days to the more comfortable and fun fall temps.  I went on a road trip over the summer and I had a blast.  But, anytime you're taking a long car trip make sure to dress comfortably.  I am always cold in the car, so I prefer to wear pants.  But, it's important to remember that you'll be sitting for hours at a time, so don't wear anything that's too tight.

AG Stevie Ankle Color | Bright colored jeans are a perfect way to transition from summer to fall.  Red jeans are perfect for all seasons.  The cropped style of these jeans is just perfect.

Curved Stripes Dolman | Who doesn't love stripes?  They are so fun and stylish.  I could wear stripes everyday.

CeCe Metallic Ballet Flats | I love metallic accessories.  These gold flats from J.Crew are great shoes for late summer and fall.  The gold makes them perfect for day and night and just about any occasion.

Today's Friday's Fancies link-up with {av} from long distance loving focuses on tee shirts.  I love wearing tees because they are comfy and can be cute.  Pairing a tee with a scarf and a pair of jeans during the fall is a perfect outfit for class or hanging out with friends.  Since I've been traveling in the car a lot the past couple of weeks, I've been wearing cute solid tees with shorts or jeans rolled up and I think it's the perfect outfit for traveling.
