This may be my new favorite show.  It premiered on ABC March 4 (during spring break) and the first episode was great!  It comes on a little late for my taste (10:00PM), but it is worth staying up for...or TiVo-ing.  One of the stars of GCB is one of my all time favorite actresses, Kristin Chenoweth.  

The show follows Amanda Vaughn a former high school Queen Bee and recent widowed mother of two, who returns to her hometown in Texas.  Formerly rich, Amanda lost everything when her husband was exposed as stealing billions of dollars from investors and died in a car crash with his mistress. She meets her former schoolmates that she used to mock and the cattiness is in full swing!  I recommend checking out this smash-hit comedy...their have only been two episodes so you are not very far behind.

summer wedges.

This year designers are doing a great job with wedges.  I love wedges.  They are so much easier to walk in (in my opinion) than most other high heels.  Kate Spade, Tory Burch and Lilly Pulitzer have some adorable pairs this season.   

Lilly Pulitzer hasn't changed the style of their wedges much over the past few years, but I love their style so I don't mind.  Plus... I love that they are not too tall, so they don't hurt my feet as much as most other shoes.

Tory Burch has a wide variety and many come in some fun colors.  I'm partial to the simple style of the Pauline wedges. 

I always love all of Kate Spade's shoes! I mean, how can you not love everything on their website.  The new wedges are to die for.  I want them all so badly!

iPad cases.

I absolutely love my iPad.  At first I wasn't really sure what the point was...I mean everybody said it was just a glorified iPhone.  But, I love it! I use it for school and entertainment.  It's great for sitting on the couch and reading e-mails or playing a game.  I also love to download my textbooks to it (when they're available) it is a lot easier and cheaper to have them on my iPad.

Right now, I am just using the typical black case that Apple sells.  But, I am dying to get a cute case... like the ones below!

spring break essentials.

I am so excited for Spring Break!  I have one exam (online, luckily!) and then it's an entire week of no homework!  I will be home for a few days and then heading to the Gator basketball game versus Kentucky and then off to Sarasota for a few days.  I cannot wait for some Gator sports and Lilly shopping!

Sundresses are a must! If you're going to be somewhere warm for spring break then a sundress is essential to your packing list.  I love pretty much anything from Lilly Pulitzer, J.Crew or Anthropologie.  I love the Lilly Pulitzer Jeanie dress, it's perfect for a day of shopping, the beach or lunch with friends.

I recommend pairing a fun cotton sundress with Jack Rogers sandals or flats.  Then carry a bright colored Longchamp or a straw bag with it.  Straw bags transition perfectly from the mall to the beach.  And of course don't forget to pack your favorite swimsuits if you're heading to a warm climate.

It's only a few days until spring break, so it's time to start thinking about what to pack.  I will be going to Sarasota for part of the week and then I'll be at home for the rest of my break!

Here are a few essentials for packing for spring break.

Stripes.  

They are everywhere! I have a few striped shirts in my wardrobe and I get so much use out of them.  They are so cute and comfortable.  J.Crew has a lot of stripes in their collection right now, but I also found some great options at Anthropologie and Lilly Pulitzer.
