Girl Meets World

Who else is excited to see Cory and Topanga again?  I am counting down the days until the new Boy Meets World sequel, Girl Meet World premieres.

Right before our very eyes. And now everyone's favorite couple is back on the small screen for the new Disney Channel series, Girl Meets World.

And who might you ask is playing their children... 

Rowan Blanchard plays Riley, Cory and Topanga's daughter who is in the 7th grade.  Her best friend, Maya Fox, is played by Sabrina Carpenter.  Oh and Cory and Topanga have a teenage son named Elliott, played by Teo Halm.

The Newsroom on HBO

My favorite HBO show The Newsroom is back for it's second season tonight!  I love how this show brings real life events to a scripted show centered around a fictional cable news station's (ACN) newsroom.  The show centers around anchor Will McAvoy played by Jeff Daniels and his news team.

Favorite TV Shows.

I watch entirely too much TV.  I record a bunch or shows and then when I have free time from school work and everything else going on, I sit down and watch a few shows.  This year a few of my favorite shows are ending... so sad!

One Tree Hill

I have been watching One Tree Hill pretty much since it began.  In recent years the show has lost of few of the main characters, but I have remained a loyal fan until the end.  I loved the last few episodes, it was a perfect way to end the show!

 

Desperate Housewives

 

In a few weeks the housewives of Wisteria Lane will be no more.  I am so sad! I have seen every episode of Desperate and really wish they could go on a few more years.

 

Gilmore Girls

 

Even though this show has been off for a few years, I still love this show!  ABC Family plays re-runs and I love it.

Boy Meets World

 

How can you not love this show?! It never gets old.

Modern Family

 

I think Modern Family is the best show on TV right now.  It is so funny and my whole family loves it.  If you haven't seen it then you're missing out!

What are your favorite shows?

American Idol.

Do you watch American Idol?  I'm loving this season.  Colton, Phillip and Jessica are amazing and I love everything they do!  

Did you see Colton this week? He did a worship song! It was so moving.

Jessica Sanchez. WOW! That's all I have to say.

Phillip Phillips reminds me of John Meyer.  I think he will be in the top 3 with Jessica and Colton.

If you haven't started watching, you should! It's a great season.

This may be my new favorite show.  It premiered on ABC March 4 (during spring break) and the first episode was great!  It comes on a little late for my taste (10:00PM), but it is worth staying up for...or TiVo-ing.  One of the stars of GCB is one of my all time favorite actresses, Kristin Chenoweth.  

The show follows Amanda Vaughn a former high school Queen Bee and recent widowed mother of two, who returns to her hometown in Texas.  Formerly rich, Amanda lost everything when her husband was exposed as stealing billions of dollars from investors and died in a car crash with his mistress. She meets her former schoolmates that she used to mock and the cattiness is in full swing!  I recommend checking out this smash-hit comedy...their have only been two episodes so you are not very far behind.

Well, there is a new dancer in town.  Brook has left the team to be a cheerleader, so Abby Lee Miller brought in a new girl to take her place.  The crazy argument's between the moms never ends and of course Abby Lee continues to scream and belittle these poor young girls.  But, of course the drama is why we watch it.

The other day at work, everyone in the office agreed that the best show ever is Modern Family.  If you haven't seen it you are seriously missing out!!!  It is the funniest show I have seen in the longest time.

It's Back!

Dance Moms premiered last night.  All the talent and drama is back and I couldn't be happier.  This is my guilty pleasure.  I don't know why, but I just love this show! If you haven't seen it check it out!

Tonight DWTS ends.  I am so happy with the top three.  Rob Kardashian has improved so much throughout the season and JR has a great story and has done a great job all season.  I can't wait to see who wins.

Today while doing a little bit of reading for one of my classes and attempting to draw a rough draft of an advertisement that I have to do...I decided the best thing to do was to watch Full House.  Perhaps one of the best shows ever...the 90s were a great time in TV.  I remember watching Full House when I was little with Nanny...she loved that show.  ABC Family plays reruns all the time! I highly recommend TiVoing it so you have something great to watch when you're board.

Quite possibly the best show ever!

Dance Moms.

My newest guilty pleasure is the reality show Dance Moms on Lifetime.  It is like Toddlers and Tiaras, but way better! The kids are actually talented and the moms are even crazier (if you can believe it).  My friend Tiff, who is a dancer, turned me onto this show and it's amazing!  Over Labor Day weekend, I caught up on all the episodes (not that you have to watch all the episodes to know what's going on... at all).  But, it's so entertaining...you get a mix of a crazy reality show and a competition show because you actually get to see the girls perform.  The girls are so cute.  There is no way I would have been happy about spending this much time on dance when I was 6-years-old.

My favorite character is defiantly Mackenzie, she is so cute!

Mackenzie's sister is Maddie who is the best dancer on the show.

Maddie gets the most attention from the dance teacher Abbie and it really makes the other moms mad!

Dancing with the Starts started last night! 

At first I wasn't very excited about the Season 13 cast, but last night was just as entertaining as the previous seasons.  I do not consider myself a die-hard fan of DWTS, but I record the episodes and watch it when I get free time during the week.  TV relaxes me because it is one time during the day when I can just veg-out and not think about all the stuff I have going on with school.

What is your opinion of this seasons cast?

I thought Kristen Cavalary did a good job and Rob Kardashian was pretty good too.  I'm not a huge fan of Nancy Grace in general (all she does is stir-up trouble) and Chaz Bono is defiantly going to make it through for a few weeks simply because he has so many supporters since he is a controversial choice for the show.  Also, I kinda loved Carson Kressley, (who for whatever reason is not in the photo above) he was so energetic and funny during his dance!

It is no surprise to my friends that I love Glee.  

When I was younger I did a lot of musical theater.  My elementary school would put on shows every year.  When I was in 6th Grade I auditioned for Gypsy at our local community theater and was cast as a small part.  It was so much fun!  It was very time consuming, but it was the time of my life.  Ever since then I was hooked on musical theater.  Every year in high school I participated in school plays and musicals.

So, when Glee premiered a few years ago of course I loved it!

Since I've been home this summer I've started watching The Glee Project on Oxygen.  I love it!  This week I've been catching up on all the episodes that I have Tivod and now I'm finally caught up.  It's such a great show.

If you haven't seen it you should start watching it.  The winner will be on Glee!
