My dear friends brother and sister, Brett & Brigetta, have started a band called Plaid and Pearl.  And if you ask me they're pretty awesome! 

Look at that good looking bunch!

Pandora One

 I cannot study in the library or a coffee shop without listening to music.  Enter Pandora One.  What a great investment!  Listen to Pandora uninterrupted, no annoying ads interrupting your concentration.  Plus there is a desktop app (& iPhone or iPad), how great is that?

Road Trip Playlist

This afternoon we're heading off on our 10+ day road trip from Florida to Tennessee.  We will be learning about our family history in Georgia, seeing the sites in NOLA and visiting family in North Mississippi.  I am looking forward to some good food and fun sightseeing.  Although our car has XM radio, I know that we could get board during our hours in the car so I put together a fun musical playlist for the trip.

I love Pandora Internet Radio.  I have the Pandora app on my desktop, iPhone and iPad.  I listen to it in the car, at Starbucks and at the library.  It is great to listen to Pandora while I'm studying or blogging.  It helps me concentrate.  There are so many amazing stations.

Whitney Houston.  America will always love you.  Your music will live in our hearts forever.  You will not soon be forgotten.  I cannot believe it is Grammys day and you are not going to be there sharing your fabulous voice with the world.

Dierks Bentley.

This weekend Dierks Bentley came to Gainesville!  I love when our student government brings great concerts to town.  It was a fantastic concert and we were in the first row!!!!  After the concert two of the girls were asked backstage, apparently Dierks noticed their homemade t-shirts and their awesome energy during the show.

Tonight is the Florida versus Alabama football game and my parents are coming up with a few of their friends from Bama.  It should be a lot of fun!
