Tipsy Skipper Flats & Clutches.
Looking for great summer flats or clutches? Check out Tipsy Skipper {mentioned here before}! I love their flats and bags. They are so fun and bright! I think they would look perfect with a pair of straight-leg jeans and a solid button-up shirt. I am dying to buy a pair (however, they don't carry my size... which is the downside to having such tiny feet!). I may just have to settle for a clutch or tote instead.

Romans 8:38-39.
Happy Sunday! Here is a quote to help you start out your day right. Hope you're having a great weekend.
{via}
"For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor
things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor
anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the
love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 8:38-39

Lilly Goes Gator!
I am so excited about all the fun Lilly Pulitzer items coming out this season featuring alligators. They have done a few things in the past with gators, but this year they have topped themselves. I cannot wait to get my new 'See You Later' planner and hopefully a few other items (crossing my fingers!).
Do you like the new Lilly accessories?

Go For the Gold!
The opening ceremonies of the 2012 London Olympics are tonight. So I thought it would be a great time to highlight some of the things I'm loving that are gold. Gold accessories go with so many things. Adding a bit of gold to any outfit is a great way to dress it up or add a fun pop of sparkle to your daily attire.
So many designers are hitting it out of the park this season with the gold and silver accessory options. I love them all!
How do you wear gold?

Friday's Fancies : Favorite Summer Treat.
Today I am linking up with {av} from long distance loving for another addition of Friday's Fancies. This week my outfit is inspired by one of my favorite summer treats, an Arnold Palmer. The combination of sweet iced tea and lemonade makes for the perfect summer beverage.

Guest Post : Preppy Bangles.
Hello Everyone! It's Rachel from A Preppy State of Mind, and I'm filling in for Katherine today while she is on vacation! I am brand new to the blogging world but am enjoying it immensely! I am a college student, a lover of everything Lilly, and the mama to a cute shorkie puppy named Jaycee.
I am SO excited to be guest blogging for Katherine! She is so kind to invite me to do this, so a big thanks goes out to her :) Her blog is so cute, and her ideas always inspire me.
Today I want to share some of my very favorite bangles to make a spectacular stack of armcandy! I feel like adding colorful bangles to any outfit will bring the whole look together. It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!
First off is the Knotty Bangle! It comes in so many cute colors and matches so much! I wear the navy almost every day.
Next is the Rachael Cable Bracelet from Swell Caroline! It compliments any stack and adds just enough sparkle!
What could be any cuter than this skinny mini bow bangle by Kate Spade! I am absolutely in love with it! Because it is a little pricey, it's still on my wish list :)
These Sequin Small Crystal Detail Hinged Bangle on Nordtsrom and Sequin-NYC are perfect to add to any stack! I feel like the creme and gold is perfect to compliment any colorful bangle and tone it down at the same time.
Last, but not least, is The ANNA Bracelets on Swell Caroline! How cute is this??
I hope all of these bangles will become part of your armcandy collection or your wish list! One thing I love about all these, except the Kate Spade bow bangle, is that they are all very reasonable! I love finding eye catchy bangles for an eye catchy price!
It has been so much fun sharing my ideas with you! Stop by and visit sometime with A Preppy State of Mind! Thanks again to Katherine!
Stay Tuned!

Road Trip Playlist
This afternoon we're heading off on our 10+ day road trip from Florida to Tennessee. We will be learning about our family history in Georgia, seeing the sites in NOLA and visiting family in North Mississippi. I am looking forward to some good food and fun sightseeing. Although our car has XM radio, I know that we could get board during our hours in the car so I put together a fun musical playlist for the trip.

Kate in Blue for an Olympic Event.
Last week Kate attended a pre-Olympic games event at the National Portrait Gallery in London. She wore a beautiful short sleeved blue Stella McCartney dress. As always the Duchess of Cambridge looked classy and fashionable for this event.
This blue Stella McCartney dress might be my favorite Kate dress. It is one of my favorite colors and she did a great job pairing it with simple black pumps and a long necklace.

Dr. Seuss.
I found this quote on Pinterest and really liked it. It's kind of depressing, but so true! I love how Dr. Seuss isn't afraid to tell the truth through his stories.
Remember we can all make a difference!
Happy Sunday!

J.Crew Factory Looks I Love
Last week I visited the J.Crew Factory store and boy did I get a lot of great deals! It was awesome!!! I love J.Crew, but sometimes the prices are just a wee bit too high. The Factory store is the perfect alternative. You can still get those great J.Crew styles without paying those high prices. It's a win-win!
Softspun Cowlneck Dress | Suede Skinny belt | Classic Ballet Flat
Charley Sweater | Envelope Purse | Toothpick Cord

Have you gotten any good deals from the anniversary sale?

Friday's Fancies : Road Trip.
Once again I am linking up with {av} from long distance loving for Friday's Fancies. Since we're off on our southern road trip next week I figured I would put together an outfit perfect for a car trip {instead of a euro trip}.
Sweater | Shorts | Bracelet | Flip Flops
I always get cold in the car {and in restaurants}, so I like to pair shorts with sweaters during the warmer months. It has been pretty hot everywhere this summer, but a lightweight sweater can still be comfortable in the summer. Recently, the 7" J.Crew chino shorts have been my favorite go-to shorts. I think they go perfectly with sweaters and long sleeve t-shirts for a cross-country trip.
