Labor Day Weekend Travel Essentials

Last weekend I took a few days off of work for a weekend trip to Louisiana.  It was so fun to spend four days visiting my aunt, uncle and cousins.  It worked out perfectly for me to take two days off of work for my baby cousin's first birthday party.  The trip was great, but too quick!

Labor Day Weekend Travel Essentials

Labor Day is less than a week away, so it's time to start packing for your long weekend getaway!  Friday afternoon I will be heading north for some Gator football... I am only staying two days, so a small duffle is plenty large enough to carry everything I will need for my trip.  It's always smart to have a couple go-to bags so you're never stressing out before a relaxing vacation (even if it's only for the weekend!).

wedding recap.

Over the weekend my sweet friend Sarah Jeanne got married.  The wedding was beautiful and loads of fun!  It was great to catch up with a few of my college friends that I had not seen in a couple of months.

The reception was held at the beautiful Parkland Country Club and it could not have been more perfect.

Happy Good Friday!  Hopefully you're having a great day and if you're lucky you don't have classes today.  I don't have classes on Fridays this semester and I got super lucky this week and my Thursday afternoon class was cancelled.  So... I headed home for Easter weekend on Wednesday afternoon after work.  Yay for long weekends!
