Diamond Jubilee Carriage Ride

The Royal Family has had a very busy few days.  After partying the night away at a concert fit for the Queen, the Royal Family spent Tuesday morning at a church service followed by lunch and a carriage ride to Buckingham Palace.

Princess Catherine chose to wear an Alexander McQueen dress for the Diamond Jubilee church service and luncheon.  She paired the dress with a Jane Taylor beaded cocktail hat.

I wish I could pull off the glamorous hats that Princess Catherine wears.

Prince Harry and Prince William did not wear military uniforms since this was a civil church service.  Don't they look great in their top hats?

the Middleton's at the diamond jubilee flotilla.

Princess Catherine's family, The Middleton's, were invited to join the royal procession down the Thames river on Sunday.  As usual, Pippa Middleton looked fantastic in a navy & cream skirt and jacket.

What do you think of Pippa's Diamond Jubilee outfit?

Doesn't Queen Elizabeth II look wonderful in her white outfit & matching hat?

Prince William & Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge looked wonderful {as usual} at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Flotilla.

I absolutely love Catherine's red dress and hat.  Red is certainly one of her best colors!

But, don't forget Prince's Harry and William, who always look great in their formal military attire.

2012 Epsom Derby

Queen Elizabeth II kicked-off her Diamond Jubilee celebration by attending the Epsom Derby on Saturday afternoon.  The Queen's husband, Prince Phillip, sons, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward, and granddaughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were also in attendance at the big race.

The Queen looked wonderful in her blue hat and bright flowered dress.

Prince William, Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge & Prince Harry were not in attendance at the Derby this year.

Will you be watching the Diamond Jubilee on TV?

jubilee.

This weekend Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee festivities began.  I'm sure you can tell that I love all things Royal Family.  I wish I was in London to watch and celebrate Queen Elizabeth's big year, but sadly I have to be in the US, so I will be watching it all unfold on TV.

But, if I was in London, I would wear this adorable light blue and white striped Anthropologie sundress.  It's a little chilly there right now, so I would need a sweater or jacket.  I would opt for this Jackie cardigan from J.Crew or maybe this kate spade new york 'nera' colorblock mac coat.  In good 'ole British fashion, a hat is a necessity and I love this red straw hat from J.Crew.  Any sundress looks wonderful with a pair of nude heals (plus they elongate your legs!).  Nordstrom has a great selection of nude heals perfect for a variety of budgets.
