sulu tunics

I recently received an e-mail introducing me to Sulu Tunics.  I love the tunic look, however I haven't really managed to master the look personally.  But, I think tunics are great for transitioning from summer to fall.  Since Saturday was the first official day of Fall, it is important to make sure your daily outfits aren't too summery (even though it may still be warm outside).

Below the tunics are paired with white jeans.  But, to make them a bit more appropriate for Fall, I recommend pairing them with dark skinny jeans or leggings.  These tunics are a perfect way to dress up your leggings or jeans for work, class or a night out with friends.

How do you wear tunics?  Have you seen or worn Sulu Tunics?

trend: tunics.

One of my favorite summer trends this year is the tunic.  Tunic tops look great with straight leg jeans.  Tunic dresses are great for parties or as a swimsuit cover-up.  Tunics are so versatile and fun!

I love this Lilly Pulitzer tunic top.  I think it would look great with white jeans and gold wedges for a night out with friends or to see a summer movie.  I particularly love the coal color and teal embroidery on this tunic.

This navy and cream tunic is great for warm summer days and is a great shirt to take from day to night.

This J.Crew tunic is great as a casual summer dress or a swimsuit cover-up.  I would pair it with Jack Rogers sandals and a straw tote.  This is a perfect item to pack on vacation, since you can use it for two outfits.

Three-quarter length tunics are great to wear to a summer movie.  They add a little more warmth (for the freezing theater) while still being cool and summery!

How do you wear tunics?

day at the beach.

It's almost summer time, which means it's almost beach time!  Even though I live in Florida and the beach is only a few hours away, I don't get to the coast very often.  I wish I could spend every weekend looking at the beautiful ocean, but sadly that is not my reality... But, a girl can dream! One nice thing about living in Florida though, is the weather is typically perfect for the pool or sitting outside.  Recently, I have been spending a lot of time sitting at a table under an umbrella at Starbucks or at my apartment doing homework.  It has been so nice!
