Beyond Yoga x Kate Spade

 

I am not much of a yoga clothing girl.  Don't get me wrong, I love being comfortable at home and on the weekends, but I am not the type of person who is comfortable going from the gym to dinner on a regular basis.  However, now that Kate Spade has debuted their collaboration with Beyond Yoga, I may be more inclined to sport my active wear.

My office has started "active wear Fridays".  We do yoga from 8-8:45 and then are free to sport our active wear for the rest of the day.  This has been somewhat of a challenge for me.  I am all about the casual jeans days, but have trouble with the active wear.  I typically pair my yoga pants with boots or flats and a loose top in order to make my casual look a bit more office appropriate.  The new Kate Spade collaboration with Beyond Yoga is right up my ally and I would love to add it into my Friday rotation.

Five Things To Do During January

1.  New Year's Day Brunch with Friends | Whether you stayed out all night ringing in the new year or spent a low-key night in, kick-off your new year with a fun brunch.  I always enjoy grabbing brunch with friends and many restaurants offer special menus on holidays (or host your own brunch with these tips from Glitter Guide).  It's the perfect way to start the new year and end the holiday season.

2.  Watch the Golden Globes | The Golden Globe Awards officially kick-off the award season.  Throw a fun watch party with friends (Pinterest is full of adorable movie themed party ideas) or curl up in your PJs for a quiet night in with popcorn. Check out this year's nominees!

3.  Enjoy your favorite popcorn on National Popcorn Day |  My family loves popcorn. We have been known to eat popcorn for dinner.  So, of course I would get excited to find out that National Popcorn day is Tuesday January 19th! Check out some yummy popcorn recipes on my Pinterest.

4.  Watch basketball | Basketball season is my favorite time of the year and in January it is in full swing.  Last week I attended my first Gator basketball game of the season and it felt so great to be back in the O'Connell Center.  Do you follow college or pro basketball?

5.  Bring Sexy Back for Justin Timberlake's Birthday | End the month with a celebration for the one and only JT!  Play your favorite JT and *N'SYNC music all day long in his honor.
