It's Beginning to Look a lot like CHRISTMAS!

This week I am home for Thanksgiving break and yesterday my mom and I started decorating for my favorite time of year.  Every year we transform our house into a winter wonderland.  We usually have three Christmas trees, one in our front window, the next in our kitchen/living room, and the third downstairs in the basement/TV room.  We then fill the house with Snow Village, a miniature city filled with snow and people in the street, it is so cute! We even have an ice skating rink that actually have little people skating on it.  We fill the entire house with decorations!

A Royal Wedding

Ever since I was a little girl I have loved everything about the Royal Family in England.  I remember the day that Princess Diana was killed and how sad it was.  But, it wasn't until I went to London, England when I was 16 that I truly came to love the Royal Family.

William and Harry are adorable and of course, like every other girl in the world I too hoped to marry one of them and become a real princess or queen.  But, last week that fantasy came to an end when Prince William announced his engagement to Kate Middleton.

Today, the couple announced that their wedding will be April 29, 2011 at West Minster Abby in London, England.  West Minster Abby is the same church that Queen Elizabeth was married in and where Princess Diana's funeral took place.  It is a very historic church and one that holds a lot of history for the Royal Family.

I cannot wait to watch it all unfold!

Welcome!

Welcome to my blog!

I am starting this blog so that I can spend time doing something fun and creative instead of wasting all my time on Facebook.  :)

I am a student at the University of Florida majoring in Advertising and minoring in Business.  I love scrapbooking, taking photographs and fashion.  My dream job would be working for Lilly Pulitzer, J.Crew or Vineyard Vines.  I think it would be so fun to work in the marketing department of a company like Lilly Pulitzer working on ad layouts and catalog layouts as well as managing their Facebook and Twitter accounts.

The world is continuously becoming more digital and I do not want to be left out... this blog is going to be an outlet for me to test out my creativity in a digital world and well... it's fun too!

This is my home!

I hope you will join me on this new adventure.  I know there will be a few bumps in the road, but I am looking forward to exploring my own personal design, fashion and creativity with all of you.

xoxo
